Rico Gomez

Rico Gomez is excited to be returning to the Crossmen and continue to be involved in the marching arts in Texas. His marching arts performance experience began in high school in Mission, TX and went on to perform with the Bobcat Marching Band and Pasic Indoor Ensemble at Texas State University. Rico performed with Crossmen Drum Corps from 2007-2008 and was awarded the Avedis Zildjian award both years.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with a focus in Television/Film from The University of Texas-Pan American (now UTRGV) and has worked with a number of venues and production teams across South Texas covering various events ranging from professional sporting events, comedy shows, concerts, and live broadcast events. Rico was also a member of the game operations teams for various semi-professional teams in the Rio Grande Valley area.
Rico has served various roles with the Crossmen administrative team including Tour Director from 2009-2019. He also served as the Assistant Director of Operations from 2014-2019 and helped lead a number of fundraising, media, and recruiting projects. In 2019 Rico was inducted into the Crossmen Hall of Fame.
In addition, Rico has provided logistics support with the Blue Knights Drum Corps and event support with US Bands and Drum Corps International.
Rico currently resides in San Antonio, TX, and is a full time video editor and producer with the consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.
