Justin Lum

Justin Lum is the Color Guard Director at Coppell High School. He has worked with the Coppell Color Guard as an instructor, a choreographer, and a designer since 2018.

Justin’s love for color guard started as a love for performance. His WGI performance experience includes Black Gold (2016), and CGT (2017-2020); his DCI performance experience includes two summers with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps (2017, 2018).

Justin’s professional teaching experience includes working with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps (2021-2023), where he also served as Co-Caption Manager for the color guard. He has also served as instructional staff for Mirage Performance Ensembles since their inaugural season (2022-present).

Mr. Lum currently resides in Dallas, TX, where he spends his free time drinking iced coffee and working on crochet projects.
