Katie Sightler

Katie Sightler is a musician and colorguard director from Lexington, SC, and she currently lives in Columbia, SC. She attends the University of South Carolina and plans to graduate in May 2025 with an undergraduate degree in Music Education and Clarinet Performance.

Katie started her marching career in the winterguard programs at Lexington High School from 2016-2021. Her performance career continued with Étude Winterguard in 2022, 2023, and 2025, The Cadets from 2022-2023, and Santa Clara Vanguard in 2024.

Katie is a passionate educator and has been fortunate enough to share her love for the activity through clinicianing, adjudicating, guest choreographing, and of course, teaching various programs since 2021.

Outside of colorguard, you can find Katie drinking coffee, visiting a petting zoo, or taking a pilates class.
