Matthew Romero

Matthew Romero is a percussionist and educator from Houston, Texas, with a diverse background in the marching arts. He has performed with notable groups including Broken City Percussion, Carolina Crown, Monarch Independent, Sacramento Mandarins, and the Blue Knights. These experiences have shaped his skills and fueled his passion for teaching.

Matthew has taught at many high schools in the greater Houston area, spending significant time with Bridgeland High School in Cypress, Texas. Influenced by exceptional educators like Taha Ahmed, Aundray Edwards, Mike Jackson, Matt Gonzales, and Veronica Wicks, he is excited to join the Crossmen as a Bass Drum Technician.
