Melanie Grilliot

Melanie is originally from Dayton, Ohio where she started dance at a young age and joined colorguard in 8th grade. After graduating high school, she moved to San Antonio and has been the director of the Veterans Memorial High School colorguard since 2017. She marched Crossmen in 2018 and 2019 and is super excited to be back with them! She also marched Origins World in 2023 and taught Origins A in 2024.

Melanie graduated from UTSA in 2021 and is a full-time elementary teacher, currently teaching 5th grade social studies. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, hanging out with her cat, reading, and baking.
